”Open Doors Day of religious communities in Doboj ” is designed in the form of visits to religious sites, during which representatives of churches and religious communities meet young people in their religious buildings and give them its view of the importance of establishing permanent peace from a religious perspective in order to involve all social factors in the process of restoring trust among the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, regardless of their ethnic or religious affiliation.
Jasna Ciric, president of the Jewish Community Niš, gave a lecture and presented a film in which she pointed to former existence of Jewish communities in ex Yugoslavia and tried to break away from the oblivion of their history and cultural heritage. The event took place in The Jewish Cultural Center in Doboj.
The Jewish Community in Doboj, as part of the “Music and Education Center”, funded by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and co-financed by the city of Doboj, organizes a ten-day creative workshop for souvenir making.
