The Music Education Center

The Music Education Center was opened on the premises of the Jewish Cultural Center in Doboj, with the full support of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina Fund, with the role of a resource center in order to help the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region, especially young people who are already attending the school of music, to develop skills in the field of music creativity, accompanied by selected professors and teaching staff.

Launching an educational and creative projects-workshops for children and young people of Doboj and the region, regardless of their ethnic or religious affiliation, as an additional way of youth education with the introduction of new working methods, and the use of music and the arts as the fastest and generally acceptable ways which include all parts of the community and creating a safe location and friendly atmosphere for children and youth where, with professional educators, they can express their creativity, talent and ability.

The current objectives of The Music Education center are as follows:

1. Offer a variety of educational and creative activities for children and youth, adapted to the age of participants and their abilities and offer a variety of art programs for people of Doboj and the region in the order to develop the cultural life of the local community,

2. Organizing the summer and winter master classes as advanced workshops for music talents,

3. Organizing various lectures and seminars,

4. Offer space and equipment to other organizations, institutions and individuals,

5. Develop and establish relations and cooperation with other cultural, youth, educational and social organizations at the local and international level.
